Who is it for?

What is covered?

  • A comprehensive policy that has removed many of the traditional exclusions such as those relating to Sport, Terrorism, Nuclear, Chemical and Biological accidents.
  • Medical assistance 24/24.
  • High accumulation limits: CHF 70 Million for ground and CHF 45 Million for air.
  • Guarantees essential travel: trip cancellation, flight delay, loss or theft of luggage.
  • Protection for the Employee and security for the Employer: kidnapping, hijacking and political evacuation are covered.
  • Cover for both personal belongings and business equipment at replacement value.

Sanctions Clause

AIG is subject to compliance with US sanctions laws. For this reason, this policy does not cover any loss, injury, damage or liability, benefits or services directly or indirectly arising from or relating to a planned or actual trip to or through Cuba. In addition, this policy does not cover any loss, injury, damage or liability to residents of Cuba.


Lastly, the policy will not cover any loss, injury, damage or legal liability sustained directly or indirectly by any individual or entity identified on any applicable government watch lists as a supporter of terrorism, narcotics or human trafficking, piracy, proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, organized crime, malicious cyber activity, or human rights abuses.

The Insurer shall not be deemed to provide cover and the insurer shall not be liable to pay any claim or provide any benefit hereunder to the extent that the provision of such cover, payment of such claim or provision of such benefit would expose the Insurer, its parent company or its ultimate controlling entity to any sanction, prohibition or restriction under United Nations resolutions or the trade or economic sanctions, laws or regulations of the European Union, Switzerland, United Kingdom or United States of America.
